Kingfishers update

What an exciting half term we have had in Kingfishers!

Everyone was eager to find out what had happened to the seeds in the  investigation that we set up last week.  We wanted to find out if seeds really do need warmth, light, water and air to grow. There were some surprising results, but in the end, we concluded that without water, seeds will not even start to grow.

In Maths we came to the end of our unit of work on addition and subtraction and we are looking forward to applying our knowledge when we start our work on money next half term.

We ended the week with a lot of fun on 'Break the Rules' day!  We enjoyed dressing up and even had a biscuit for our snack! Mr Mills gave us a fun session in the hall, with lots of dancing and races. In art, we found out about graffiti art and then had a go ourselves!

What a super week we had!
